Will you help us stop Jordan Cove LNG? In March, the Federal Government opened an opportunity for our communities to submit comments to our agencies about the Jordan Cove LNG export terminal and Pacific Connector Pipeline.
A Canadian fossil fuel corporation, called Pembina, is proposing a 229-mile long pipeline and “LNG” terminal to export 1.3 billion cubic feet of fracked gas overseas from Coos Bay, Oregon. The Jordan Cove LNG project would risk the clean drinking water of 150,000 Oregonians, become the largest source of climate pollution in Oregon, and pose a major public safety threat to nearby communities.
This proposed fracked gas pipeline would cross the Rogue River in Trail. The City of Shady Cove has passed 2 resolutions opposing the pipeline!
We hope to see you there!
